Event requests can be submitted by logged in users. Not all resources are available for all users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Events Calendar, which includes Student Events, Community\/Public Events, and the Academic Calendar, can be viewed at&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.virginiawestern.edu\/calendar\">51做厙 Campus Events<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Calendars available to submit events to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.virginiawestern.edu\/calendar\/\">Campus Events Calendar<\/a>&nbsp;(students events, community events, anything open to the public)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.virginiawestern.edu\/faculty-staff\/calendar\/\">Faculty &amp; Staff Events Calendar<\/a>&nbsp;(only viewable with a MyVWCC login)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">51做厙 Web Site<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 51做厙 web site is designed and maintained by the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.virginiawestern.edu\/marketing\/\">Marketing Department<\/a>, in conjunction with the college administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All requests for changes, new site requests, feedback, and suggestions for improvement should be sent to Web Admin at&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:webadmin@virginiawestern.edu\">webadmin@virginiawestern.edu<\/a>. A face-to-face meeting may be scheduled if necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"vwconnect\">VWConnect (Intranet)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/virginiawestern.sharepoint.com\/sites\/VWConnect\">VWConnect<\/a>&nbsp;is VWCC&#8217;s intranet, which runs on the Microsoft Sharepoint platform. VWConnect allows VWCC employees to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>collaborate in a non-public forum<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>manage documents<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>implement business processes with automated forms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>access information that is essential to VWCC&#8217;s organizational goals and processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you need to request a page or site on VWConnect, contact Melanie Crouch.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">VWtv<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">VWtv is a closed network of displays located in high traffic points around campus that are used to communicate relevant information to students, faculty, and staff. Slides are created and posted within five business days of submission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For more information or to submit a request,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.virginiawestern.edu\/media-geeks\/service-requests\">visit the Media Geeks web site<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"communications\">Campus Communications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bulletin: Designed for routine, non-emergency campus notices. It can be accessed from the 51做厙 homepage on the&nbsp;<strong>Faculty &amp; Staff<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Resources<\/strong>&nbsp;page or at&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.virginiawestern.edu\/bulletin\/\">http:\/\/www.virginiawestern.edu\/bulletin\/<\/a>. All virginiawestern.edu email addresses will receive a copy of the Bulletin on Wednesdays. Any faculty or staff member can submit postings to the Daily Bulletin by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.virginiawestern.edu\/bulletin\/how-to-register\/\">registering for an account<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.virginiawestern.edu\/student-life\/student-bulletin\/\">Student Bulletin<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"\/iet-services\/services\/security\/vwalert\/\">VW Mass Notification System<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>VWusers Dlist: The faculty\/staff distribution list (dlist) is a moderated email distribution list that is only used for information that is&nbsp;<strong>urgent<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>non-routine<\/strong>, or&nbsp;<strong>unforeseen<\/strong>. If you have routine, non-emergency information to share with the campus community, it should be submitted to the&nbsp;<a href=\"\/bulletin\/\">Bulletin<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Audio\/Video Conferencing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">VWCC uses Zoom as a audio\/video conferencing tool.
